Dan Sobel

Dan has over 25 years of experience as a consultant, contractor, owner’s representative, and operator in the live entertainment, hospitality, gaming, architecture, and construction industries. Throughout his career, he has worked on a wide range of projects around the world, including the design and construction of multi-billion-dollar resort properties, theaters, stadiums, arenas, nightclubs, cruise ships, and cultural sites.

With a background in technical theater, Dan’s expertise and leadership have been tapped for 100+ theatrical productions and live events, including Broadway shows, the Superbowl Half-Time Show, and Olympic Ceremonies. He enjoyed an early professional start, rising quickly from concert tour setups and theater scenery construction to New York-based McLaren Engineering, where he participated in the development of the stage for Cirque Du Soleil’s production KA, as well as the forensic investigation of one of the concert industry’s largest rigging accidents.

Dan was ultimately hired by Cirque Du Soleil as a technical director in their Las Vegas resident shows division, which led to theater construction projects with Marnell Corrao Associates. His unique combination of entertainment and construction management experience positioned him as a highly sought-after professional, collaborating with esteemed companies like Tishman, Cosmopolitan, and Fontainebleau Resorts to represent ownership and develop casino-property entertainment programs.

In 2010, Dan established his own company, Daniel K. Sobel LLC, where he continues to produce groundbreaking and award-winning theatrical productions, landmark buildings, memorable attractions, and best-in-class performance venues.
