AWAKENING
Project Management
Awakening at the Wynn Las Vegas premiered on November 7th, 2022. This $120 million spectacle features one of the most complex stage machines ever imagined. The 60-foot prismatic stage lift system was designed and built by Show Canada Industries featuring a transparent glass floor with integrated LED video display and dichroic cladding. The stage is capable of high speed lifting and rotation into various configurations to support the production’s fast and intense choreography.
MEYDAN ONE

Meydan One is a 3.67 million square meter mixed‐use development which features record‐breaking facilities including the longest indoor ski slope, the highest residential tower in the world, and the world’s largest dancing water fountain measuring 400m x 100m. Working with WET Design, AE7 Architects, and Meydan, developed an unprecedented integrated live entertainment attraction.

Resorts World Las Vegas features a 50ft diameter mirror-finish entertainment attraction known as the Globe that welcomes guests with dynamic video content produced by Moment Factory and Digital Kitchen. In collaboration with the project ownership team and Steelman Architects, the Globe was design & built by SCI and their custom LED manufacturing partners in China.

The Raiders stadium features a system which allows the playing field to move from game position inside the stadium to a growing position outside. An integrated component of the field tray system is a series of mechanized structural building columns which retract to allow the field tray to traverse unobstructed and support the full load of the fans above during games.

Featuring exclusive content created by Steven Spielberg and Dreamworks, the Universal Sphere is a public attraction located in the lobby of the Comcast Technology and Innovation Center in Philadelphia, PA. The exterior of the Sphere is an architectural art piece designed by Foster & Partners. Inside is an immersive audio-video experience featuring a moving seating platform designed and built by SCI in collaboration with Stage One, Coherent Design, Solotech, Spitz, IAC Acoustics, and Holovis.

Opened in 2018 this 2,000-seat theater at the NagaWorld Resort is the first of it's kind in Cambodia. Collaborating with Coherent Design under Steelman Architects this venue was designed to host a variety of shows and events in a space that was architecturally challenging as the original master plan had the venue oriented 90 degrees.
The Yard at Chicago Shakespeare

Opened in 2017 on the Navy Pier in downtown Chicago this transformable theater is the first of it's kind featuring 9-movable seating towers designed & built by Show Canada Industries, Inc complete with three levels of seating, theatrical infrastructure, architectural lighting, HVAC, fire sprinklers, and design finishes that rival most traditional venues.
MILLENNIAL ESports Arena

Located in downtown Las Vegas this 15,000-square-foot venue is they city’s first entertainment complex dedicated solely to the emerging competitive video gaming market. Designed for broadcast and live tournament play this facility was converted from a cinema complex to a full featured production venue.

Wynn Palace Cotai

Steve Wynn has described it as "the most aggressive, ambitious and lovely project" undertaken by Wynn Resorts at a total cost estimated cost of $4.4 billion USD. Working under Wynn Design Development, Show Canada Industries designed & built stage machinery, show action equipment, and two 30-meter tall gold dragons that anchor the property and welcome guests via a gondola ride over the front lake feature.

Award winning live-action production of the Little Mermaid at Tokyo Disney Sea in Japan. The purpose built venue features an advanced 3d performer flying rigging to fly "Ariel" gracefully over a crowd of 700 guests, a life-like animatronic King Triton figure, and various other show action equipment designed, engineered, and built by TAIT for Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment.

The Emmy-Award winning Opening & Closing Ceremonies produced by Five Currents for the 1st European Games held in Baku Azerbaijan. Built as a joint venture between Stage One Creative Services and Show Canada Industries this massive stage construction features 20 concealed lifts that form a mountain 14m tall, a full stage "burning man" flame effect, and a lake of water that appears from nowhere for a climatic torch lighting.

The Sochi Olympic games featured the largest and most technically challenging Opening & Closing Ceremonies in Olympic history. Directed an army of designers, engineers, fabricators, and installers across several continents to deliver the staging, lift machinery, scenic elements, and special effects built and designed by Show Canada Industries for the Ceremonies Staging Agency and producer Five Currents. Collaborating with Tech Production Services, supervised theater venue upgrades for the load-in of the hit broadway musical Jersey Boys into the Paris Hotel & Resort Las Vegas for permanent residence. The show features heavy over-stage and under-stage equipment requiring infrastructure modifications to the existing building.
Michael Jackson Immortal Tour

Combining the music and vision of Michael Jackson with Cirque du Soleil's signature acrobatic performance style this arena tour began October 2, 2011 for a total of 501 shows in 141 cities and 27 countries. Stage Technologies Inc provided the overhead rigging system including all performer flying winches, controls, and various other stage effects.

Absinthe at Caesars Palace Las Vegas Opened on April 1, 2011 and was originally presented in a 650 seat spiegeltent located on the Roman Plaza. Working with the show producers Spiegelworld, BASE Entertainment, Caesars and local authorities created and operated the show, venue, and outside beer garden for it's debut in Las Vegas and first highly successful year of operation.
IRIS by CIRQUE DU SOLEIL

Cirque du Soleil's resident show based in Hollywood, CA which premiered on September 25, 2011. The show explored images from the history of cinema and featured elaborate choreography, acrobatics, and a variety of contemporary circus acts. Working with Stage Technologies managed the design and installation of the automation controls, rigging, and performer flying equipment for this $100m production in the Dolby Theatre. This same venue is home to the Academy Awards Show which required everything be built to be removed and re-installed annually.
UTC Fire Innovation & Test Center

The FIT fire testing center located inside United Technologies Corporation's Jupiter, FL complex contains a burn hall designed for testing fire suppression systems. Working with Stage Technologies provided the rigging and controls for the 200,000 lb movable ceiling (approx 100ft x 100ft) that moves up and down over active fires via 9 custom built winches designed for the high loads and extreme temperatures.
