In collaboration with Universal Creative, Show Canada was responsible for the design, fabrication, and installation of all scenic elements for the live show and its purpose-built theater within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ – Ministry of Magic™. From 1920s wizarding Paris to the 1990s British Ministry, this immersive land invites guests to explore magical communities across multiple eras—anchored by world-class themed entertainment and theatrical design.
LAS VEGAS SPHERE
Consulting Services
Developed by Madison Square Garden Entertainment, the Sphere is the world’s largest spherical structure, with seating for 17,600 and standing room for 20,000 more. Its defining feature—the exosphere—is a 580,000-square-foot fully programmable LED exterior. This multi-billion-dollar venue sets a new standard for immersive live entertainment, hosting concerts and events by headline artists from around the world.

Saudi Arabia’s largest music festival attracted over 730,000 attendees and earned a Guinness World Record for the world’s tallest stage. Serving as Senior Director of Construction, provided construction management and consulting services on behalf of event producer Production Glue, focusing on the permanent aspects of the festival infrastructure and site development.
AWAKENING
Project Management
Awakening at Wynn Las Vegas premiered on November 7, 2022, as a $120 million theatrical spectacle featuring one of the most advanced stage machines ever conceived. Led the project management for the design, engineering, and installation of the 60-foot prismatic stage lift system, developed by Show Canada Industries. The system features a transparent glass floor embedded with LED video and finished with dichroic cladding. Capable of high-speed lifting and rotation, the stage reconfigures seamlessly to support the production’s rapid-fire, physically demanding choreography.
Reviving Humanity Memorial
Project Management
Spanning 60 acres, the Reviving Humanity Memorial is a landmark cultural destination inspired by a celestial map reflecting the night sky over Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The master plan includes 25 fully built and finished structures, featuring seven exhibition halls dedicated to human values, environmental awareness, and global unity. Many of the buildings incorporate kinetic facades that transform—blending technology, machinery, and art into a dynamic architectural expression.

Resorts World Las Vegas

Resorts World Las Vegas is home to The Globe, a 50-foot diameter mirror-finish entertainment attraction that greets guests with dynamic, immersive video content produced by Moment Factory and Digital Kitchen. Led project management efforts in collaboration with the ownership team and Steelman Architects to bring this striking feature to life. The Globe was designed and fabricated by Show Canada Industries in partnership with custom LED manufacturers in China, combining advanced fabrication, integrated media, and architectural spectacle.
MEYDAN ONE
Consulting Services
Meydan One is a 3.67 million square meter mixed‐use development which features record‐breaking facilities including the longest indoor ski slope, the highest residential tower in the world, and the world’s largest dancing water fountain measuring 400m x 100m. Working with WET Design, AE7 Architects, and Meydan, developed an unprecedented integrated live entertainment attraction.
Las vegas raiderS Stadium
Project Management
Allegiant Stadium features a retractable natural grass playing field that moves from game position inside the stadium to a growing position outside. Provided project management support for key elements of the field tray system, including the integration of mechanized structural columns that retract to allow the 19-million-pound tray to traverse unobstructed, then extend to support the full live load of fans above during games. Delivered during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the work required precise coordination across disciplines to maintain progress and performance under highly constrained conditions.
Universal Sphere
Project Management
Located in the lobby of the Comcast Technology and Innovation Center in Philadelphia, the Universal Sphere is a free public attraction featuring exclusive content created by Steven Spielberg and DreamWorks. The striking architectural exterior, designed by Foster & Partners, encloses an immersive audio and video experience centered around a custom moving seating platform. Directed the design and construction of the entire attraction, which was permitted as an amusement ride, with Show Canada Industries serving as the prime contractor. Oversaw coordination with key collaborators including Stage One, Coherent Design, Solotech, Spitz, IAC Acoustics, and Holovis.
Galaxy Macau

The Phase 3 expansion of Galaxy Entertainment Group’s flagship resort in Macau included a 16,000-seat arena, a multi-function exhibition center, and a new state-of-the-art theater venue. Provided theater consulting services in collaboration with Coherent Design, supporting the planning and design of large-scale entertainment facilities as part of this significant integrated resort development.
INSPIRE Entertainment Resort

Early-phase design and project consulting services working wiht Coherent Design under AEDIS Architects contributed to the development of this landmark resort, now the largest integrated entertainment destination in Northeast Asia. Owned and operated by Mohegan Tribal Gaming, the resort features a 5-star hotel with 1,275 rooms, a 15,000-seat multi-purpose arena, a year-round indoor water park under a glass dome, and Korea’s largest ballroom. The property also includes a foreigner-only casino, a 150-meter digital entertainment street, immersive media art experiences, expansive retail and dining, and an outdoor event space accommodating up to 30,000 guests.
MGM Cotai Theatre

Opened in 2018, the MGM Cotai Theatre was conceived as Asia’s first fully dynamic performance venue, featuring a 10,000-square-foot, 28-million-pixel 4K LED screen and cutting-edge stage technology. Designed to accommodate large-scale productions and reconfigurable special events, the theater blends advanced engineering with architectural ambition. Provided project management on behalf of Show Canada, overseeing the design, fabrication, and installation of the moving video wall and stage engineering systems that bring this flexible entertainment space to life.
naba TheatRE at Nagaworld

Opened in 2018, the NABA Theatre—short for “Nations Arts Bayon Academy”—is a sophisticated 2,000-seat venue located within the NagaWorld Resort. As the first of its kind in Cambodia, it features state-of-the-art video mapping technology and was designed to host a wide range of theatrical productions, concerts, and live events. Developed in collaboration with Coherent Design under Steelman Architects, the project overcame significant architectural challenges, including a complete reorientation of the venue from its original master plan.
The Yard at Chicago Shakespeare

Opened in 2017 on Navy Pier in downtown Chicago, The Yard is a groundbreaking transformable theater—the first of its kind. Imagined by UK-based theater consultancy Charcoalblue, the venue features nine fully movable seating towers designed to reconfigure the space for a wide range of performance styles and audience capacities. Led the complete project management effort on behalf of Show Canada Industries, Inc., overseeing the design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of the towers. Each unit includes three levels of seating along with integrated theatrical infrastructure, architectural lighting, HVAC, fire protection systems, and premium finishes all moving effortlessly on air casters to allow for seamless reconfiguration of the theater.
MILLENNIAL ESports Arena

Located in downtown Las Vegas, this 15,000-square-foot venue became the city’s first entertainment complex dedicated exclusively to the emerging competitive video gaming market. Provided consulting services and construction management oversight for the conversion of a former cinema complex into a fully equipped broadcast and live tournament facility, purpose-built to support professional esports production and immersive audience experiences.
Disney Shanghai Resort

Opened on June 16, 2016, Shanghai Disney Resort marked Disney’s first theme park in mainland China and one of the most ambitious theme park launches in the company’s history. Provided critical planning and schedule recovery services for SCC/Beijing Xingguang (Starlight) Film & TV Equipment Technologies, supporting the delivery of multiple Creative Entertainment venues including the Castle Show and the Pirate Stunt Show. The role involved coordinating with specialty vendors from around the world while overcoming the challenges of executing complex technical work through local resources under an exceptionally ambitious timeline.
Wynn Palace Cotai

Steve Wynn described as “the most aggressive, ambitious, and lovely project” ever undertaken by Wynn Resorts, the $4.4 billion USD Wynn Palace Cotai redefined luxury entertainment in Macau. Working with Show Canada under Wynn Design & Development, led project management for the design, fabrication, and installation of stage machinery and show action equipment in the resort’s floral atriums and dinner theater, as well as the two iconic 30-meter-tall dragon towers finished in 24-karat gold. These monumental figures anchor the resort’s entrance, greeting guests as they arrive via gondola over the performance lake.
Disney's king triton concert

This award-winning live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid at Tokyo DisneySea featured a purpose-built venue designed to deliver a fully immersive undersea experience for 700 guests. Led project management for the integration of advanced show systems, including a sophisticated 3D performer flying rig that allowed Ariel to glide effortlessly above the audience, a life-like animatronic King Triton, and a range of custom show action equipment. All elements were designed, engineered, and fabricated by TAIT for Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment.
Solaire Resort & Casino Theatre

This newly constructed 1,740-seat theater marked a first-of-its-kind venue in Manila, Philippines. Provided consulting services in collaboration with Coherent Design and AEDIS Architects to support the integration of advanced theatrical technologies and infrastructure. The venue was purpose-built to accommodate both in-house productions and touring shows of all scales, establishing a new benchmark for performance spaces in the region.
2015 european games
Project Management
The Emmy Award–winning Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the inaugural European Games were produced by Five Currents and staged in Baku, Azerbaijan. Led project management efforts for the joint venture between Stage One Creative Services and Show Canada, delivering a monumental stage system featuring 20 concealed lifts that formed a 14-meter-tall mountain, a full-stage “burning man” flame effect, and a disappearing lake that emerged for the climactic torch lighting. This large-scale integration of mechanical, scenic, and special effects pushed the boundaries of temporary stadium production.
2014 Winter olympics

The Sochi Olympic Games featured the largest and most technically ambitious Opening and Closing Ceremonies in Olympic history. Directed the coordination of designers, engineers, fabricators, and installers across multiple continents to deliver the staging, lift machinery, scenic elements, and special effects for both the Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies. All elements were engineered and built by Show Canada Industries under contract to the Ceremonies Staging Agency and producer Five Currents, representing a massive global effort executed on an unforgiving timeline.
Grand Mayan

Grupo Vidanta, a leading hospitality group in Mexico and operator of luxury resort brands including Grand Mayan, Grand Luxxe, and The Bliss, initiated efforts in 2012 to expand entertainment programming across its portfolio. Focused primarily on the flagship Nuevo Vallarta property, the vision included the creation of a resident Cirque du Soleil production and a large-scale theme park, positioning the resort complex as a premier entertainment destination in the region.
Jersey boys Las vegas
Production Management
Served as the Las Vegas-based representative for New York–based Broadway technical supervisor Tech Production Services during the venue upgrade and load-in of Jersey Boys at the Paris Hotel & Resort. The production required significant infrastructure modifications to accommodate extensive over-stage and under-stage equipment, ensuring the venue could support the technical demands of the show’s long-term residency.
Michael Jackson Immortal Tour

Launched on October 2, 2011, Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour blended the legendary artist’s music and vision with Cirque du Soleil’s signature acrobatics. Designed by the iconic Mark Fisher, the arena-scale production completed 501 performances across 141 cities in 27 countries. Led the delivery of the overhead rigging system on behalf of Stage Technologies Inc., including all performer flying winches, automation controls, and a range of dynamic stage effects. The project broke new ground by packaging an unprecedented level of show technology into a fully touring format—setting a new benchmark for arena-scale touring productions.
AbsinthE
Production Management
Opened on April 1, 2011, Absinthe debuted in a 650-seat spiegeltent on the Roman Plaza at Caesars Palace. Led the charge in bringing this acclaimed production from the South Street Seaport in New York City to the Las Vegas Strip, working closely with Spiegelworld, BASE Entertainment, Caesars, and local authorities to develop the show, venue, and outdoor beer garden. Numerous design iterations were explored before securing this prominent location, ultimately shaping the successful launch and first year of operations in Las Vegas.
IRIS by CIRQUE DU SOLEIL
Project Management
Cirque du Soleil’s resident production in Hollywood, CA premiered on September 25, 2011, at the iconic Kodak Theatre (now the Dolby Theatre). The show celebrated the history of cinema through elaborate choreography, acrobatics, and contemporary circus arts. The project was led on behalf of Stage Technologies, overseeing the design and installation of automation controls, rigging, and performer flying systems for this $100 million production. As the home of the annual Academy Awards, the venue required all production elements to be fully removable and reinstalled each year.
UTC Fire Innovation & Test Center
Project Management
Located within United Technologies Corporation’s Jupiter, FL complex, the FIT Fire Testing Center features a burn hall engineered for large-scale fire suppression system testing. This project applied advanced entertainment rigging and show control expertise to a critical industrial application for an aerospace and defense contractor. Working with Stage Technologies, the team delivered the rigging and automation controls for a 200,000 lb movable ceiling (approximately 100 ft x 100 ft) capable of being raised and lowered over active fires. The system utilized nine custom-built winches, specifically designed to withstand high loads and extreme temperatures.
